Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
  • 2-3 dates (or 2-3 tablespoons honey)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (or chia seeds)

Method
 

  1. Combine 2 cups almond milk, 1 cup ice, 1 ripe banana, 1/2 avocado, 2 tablespoons almond butter, 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder, and 2-3 dates in a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the smoothie and add more dates or honey if you prefer it sweeter.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

- Use very ripe bananas and avocados for the creamiest texture and best flavor.
